Can I use Foodmove even if I’m just ordering for myself? Absolutely! In fact, you’ll get exclusive discounts on every order you place regardless of your group size. Keep in mind that for delivery orders you do have to reach each restaurant’s minimum order amount before they will deliver.
How can I get higher cashback discounts on my food purchases? Eat with more friends! Also, small or single order groups can always be combined with other people ordering for the same time and place which helps increase the group discount for everyone. For example, if you order a single cheeseburger for take-out at 12:30 and someone else places a large order from the same restaurant for the same time, the groups will automatically combine and you will share the increased discount level from the larger order amount. You can also do this in reverse and search for large groups to join.
What if my favorite restaurant isn’t on your list? We carefully search out restaurants that are willing to provide excellent value and service through our site, but we could never find them all without your help. Can I call Foodmove to place my order? While there’s nothing we enjoy more than shooting the breeze with our loyal customers, we would appreciate the courtesy of limiting phone calls to questions or concerns and leave the website for that boring order taking stuff.
I’m starting my own delivery group and can’t select certain restaurants, what’s up with that? If a restaurant is displayed and you can’t select it, it is most likely because that particular restaurant is due to deliver a group order at the exact same time in a different location. You can select another restaurant or just try an earlier/later time, at least until the technology exists for the driver to be in two places at the same time, at which point we will most likely just “beam” your food to you. Is there a minimum order amount for delivery? Yes, each restaurant sets a minimum order amount to initiate delivery.
Hey, somebody messed up my order, who do I yell at? Although online ordering greatly reduces the chance of errors, no system is perfect. To avoid yelling at yourself, always double check your order at the time it is placed to make sure the order is accurate on your end. If indeed a mistake has been made, notify the restaurant so that we can work with them to remedy the problem and improve the order processing system. Can I cancel/change my order? Yes, just log in to the site and view current orders. You may cancel your order from there.
Why isn’t my food here yet? If you need to check on your food order, you can always call the restaurant directly using the contact information provided with your confirmation email. If you have trouble reaching the restaurant, feel free to Contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
How do I receive my free Hovercraft kit? I just had to slip this in here to see if anybody actually reads this thing, and no we do not offer free hovercraft kits…yet.
Will I receive a confirmation email/receipt? Once your order has successfully been placed, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to help you invite your friends, classmates, office buddies, high school crushes, or even those random contacts in your email account you don’t recognize anymore to join your group and grow your discount. Once a group has closed and is out for delivery, a receipt will be sent to your corresponding email address. This receipt includes the following information: the original purchase amount of your meal, your Foodmove savings (depending on how large your group was), your order number, and the contact information of the restaurant that is delivering your food.
Why am I not receiving a confirmation email? First check your junk mail to see if it went there. If so, try adding orders@foodmove.com as a contact in your email setup/account information. Also, you can check to verify that the email address you sent us is correct without any typos. If nothing seems to be working, Contact us and we will work tirelessly until the issue is resolved.
What are my payment options? You can use a VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit/debit cards. We currently do not accept checks, cash, money orders, IOU’s, or rare coin collections.
